Region and Cultural Landscape

The sense of place that humans possess that applies to a larger area of space.  Ex: Whiteford vs. Baltimore.
Region-An area of earth defined by one or more distinctive characteristics.
-larger then a point
-smaller then the earth
-several neighboring countries that share important features
-many locations within a county.
Cultural Landscape:
1.An area fashioned from nature by a cultural group.

2.A combination of physical and human characteristics that uniquely define an area.
Today in class we got our tests back but didn't review them.
