Philiosophy and The kindness of human nature

Today in class we discussed more questions to make up think more about life.  The majority of class was spent hearing Mr. Schick tell a story about helping a homeless man and deja vu.  The main point of the story was about Mr.Schick going out of his way to see the good in human nature and the beauty of human nature.  Strangers or not we should be humane to all the people we meet.  He talked about his encounter with a homeless man in Chicago and how getting to know him changed his view on homeless people.  And if you have an open heart and mind you can learn a lot about others and not just judge them off their original appearance.  And this all contributes to the beauty of society through seeing the beauty of human nature.
