A message to Mr. Garcia

Today in class we read it A Message to Mr.Garcia. I think the most relevant thing that stood out to me was the need for someone who was dedicated to a task. To me, it seemed that the author was trying to convey a lack of people who were willing to work without question. Many people looked for work but were unwilling to put in the to a task. The letter in this story is a significant document needs to be crossed through enemy lines. It was a grueling task but without complaint, Rowan completed it and without objection to authority. The latter part of the story is about people who do not dedicate themselves fully to their work. Including the frustration of the Hubbert to people in society who do not pull their weight. I have appreciated the frustration of Hubbard but empathize with the people found in the story. From an outside perspective, it is hard to see why the lackluster behavior in the work place is such an irritation. Furthermore in my experience, when faced with a situation of ha

Day 2 of Human Geo

Mr.Schick can most likely be found in room 121. Today we mostly just went over all the rules for this class. We learned that human geo is the study of people and their life style. This is only a semester long course and will end with a exam at the end of class. The supples we need for this class are a computer, composition notebook, writing utensil, planner, and a willingness to learn with an open mind. We will be assessed through tests, pop quiz's, in class work, daily blog, projects, but there will be no extra credit. I have to check my email every day. Also Friday's we don't have to turn in a blog until Sunday night. Most of the class was centered around Vlad finishing his blog. I have a soccer game tomorrow and I can most likely play in a week. Late work will be accepted but 10% will be taken off everyday we don't turn it in. The class was much more talkative and participating today then yesterday.

My Experience As A Patriot Thus Far

Today was my first day as a JC patriot! This is special for me because both my aunt, uncle, dad, mom, and sister all have gone or are current students at John Carroll. In addition my Dad teaches here, I have been around John Carroll for a while so it is super exciting to finally be going to school. My school day started out by going to the locker room to get my hair braided. I made varsity soccer this year, but hurt my knee the first practice. Today was game day so my team and I went in early to get ribbons in our hair. Unfortunately our game was cancelled due to rain, but that means we get the night off to do homework;) The day passed by super slowly. I had six classes today and no off mods. My favorite class would have to be health because we have a super fun class and Mrs.Gauthier is an energetic and understanding teacher. Dissimilarly I did not like freshmen seminar because of how much information we received and the angry tone in Mr.Ireton’s voice the whole class. My bi
